Hi Guys

Had a brilliant 3 nights at the w / ender, fantastic to have heard Jamo Thomas and the Showmen played at a soul venue 2009, plus zillions of other up tempo dancers of course, takes me back a bit from 53 to about 13 when I first played them myself, DJ spot of the weekend of course goes to Rob Wicks for his Samanthas / Wigan oldies session, ( from the Cleethorpes posse ) sad to say the messiah (John Vincent ) wasn`t up to his usual standard, got our next years tickets already, just 1 minor niggle, the bar service ;

Takes so long you miss loads of sounds you want to dance to, hope it improves for next year. That apart guys and gals, a cracking weekend , we soulies appreciate the effort you all put in and long may it reign , keep the faith.

Thanks for the email about tickets for next year. I’ll be buying my ticket soon, but in the old fashioned way. I’ll be sending a cheque rather than using Paypal. All of the people involved in arranging the weekend should be congratulated for organising a superb event. This was my first soul weekender and it’s the best weekend I have spent for years. I must say, I really enjoyed you spot. My only complaint would be that you played so many good sounds, I was knackered by the time you finished! Well done to all of you. KTF

Feedback: 100% positive, great venue, brilliantly organised and run, couldn’t fault a thing.

Accommodation booked again for next year 2010 and as soon as site is ready for next years ticket purchase we will be onto it.

As someone already said IF CARSLBERG MADE A SOUL EVENT IT WOULD BE BRIDLINGTON Well done to all concerned and thank you

Just one BIG thank you for a fantastic weekend, it was out of this world and you can count on our support anytime, all that hard work paid off big time and you should all be proud of yourselves for staging the best weekender in the Country.

I had to write in and congratulate ECSC on a job well done last weekend.

It was our first time at Brid and we were blown away by the quality of the venue and the event itself. We have been to the last three Whitby weekenders and both the Blackpool Tower ones and decided on a recommendation to try Brid instead of Whitby this year

Clearly this is an event run by people with a genuine love of the scene and a desire to contribute the best possible experience for all those lucky enough to attend. What we particularly enjoyed was that there were just the right number of people there - enough to create a fabulous and friendly atmosphere and yet not too many that you couldn't sit down put your pint down and get onto the floor.

The smaller rooms were also amazing and our friends were mightily impressed with the original sounds that were playing.

We go to a lot of these events and, although we enjoy them all, yours stands out and we will definitely be booking for next year along with our entourage.

Well done and keep on keepin on!

congratulations on the fantastic feedback and obvious overwhelming success of this years event. We would like to purchase 2 tickets for the 2010 event are you intending to take then round with you at weekends. If so can we purchase when we bump in to you, We frequent Drax, City Limits (not July we are at Whitby), Pilsley, Davy's Metrodome occasionaly Keighley & Bentick or what do you suggest?

Brilliant weekend! Did you video the weekender, well parts of it? Then you can sell the DVD's for charity/profit.

Moment that sticks in my mind is Sunday afternoon, main room, the couple (peter? and su?) dancing fast stomping to?the trip???... on the cleared dance floor to applause after. Fella was knackered bless him but they fabulously danced to the very last note. People were taking photos and videos of them.

A fantastic weekend thanks. You all must have worked so hard and this showed because everything ran so smoothly. A special thanks from me to Karen Wigley and Rob Wicks who always gave me a big warm and friendly welcome when I came down those stairs! They must have been very tired of all the welcoming they did but they never once showed it!

Well done all of you. Roll on next year!

'Twas excellent - after Fri. night with all the "Wigan '78" stuff, which is not my bag. Sat. night I got souled out - brilliant. The bender in top hat and tails has got some nuts eh? I will return.

hi just a short email to say thanks for a great time at bridlington soul weekender,fantastic venue,great atmosphere and great tunes ,some 22 of us from Denton Soul Club Manchester, enjoyed the whole weekend and now even more want to come along next year. can"t wait till the next year.

Thanks for another great weekend of soul at the Brid weekender. It grows from strengh to srength wih the extra rooms upstaires. All the DJs were fantastic and in particular for me the R&B DJs and also Yocki. What a bloke

The organisation and smooth running of the venue was fantastic and i thank all involved for there efforts to make ours and all that attended a great weekend.

I think the numbers attending were just right and i would like to say if numbers went up next year it could be a bit hectic. But that is just a personal view.
